With 12 high schools and 18 middle schools, Frisco ISD now has more sports teams than ever. Fortunately, those teams have never been easier for families and fans to follow, whether in person or through FISD’s new streaming and video partner, NBC Sports Next’s SportsEngine.
During the 2023-24 school year, FISD fans will be able to watch live streams of most sporting events held at FISD athletic facilities at FriscoSportsLive.com. The website runs on the SportsEngine youth sports technology platform built by NBC Sports Next, a subdivision of NBC Sports.
During the spring and summer, SportsEngine installed cameras at FISD high school athletic facilities used for baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball and wrestling. Cameras were also installed at the District’s swimming and diving facilities, as well as in the gymnasiums of FISD middle schools. This was done at no cost to Frisco ISD.
Subscriptions to Frisco Sports Live will give viewers access to all live video streams as well as on-demand content, along with SportsEngine editing tools that allow viewers to download video and create highlight packages from the games.
Subscriptions are $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year.

The SportsEngine-backed FriscoSportsLive.com is expected to stream nearly 4,000 FISD sporting events annually featuring the District’s high schools and middle schools. The added access comes at a perfect time for fans and families as FISD now has approximately 12,000 student-athletes at the high school and middle school levels.
Frisco ISD teams also had unprecedented success during the 2022-23 season. FISD had a record 74 playoff teams, plus state champions in boys soccer and girls basketball, seven state runner-up teams and dozens of individual state champions and medalists in sports such as golf, tennis, wrestling, swimming and diving and track and field.
