Through Advanced Placement classes, high school students take college-level courses and participate in a cumulative exam to potentially earn college credit. AP classes are rigorous, college-level courses that align with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills and the College Board standards and skills.

Open Enrollment

Frisco ISD and College Board are committed to providing all students access to rigorous coursework. In addition, all students deserve the opportunity to participate in rigorous and academically challenging courses and programs. 

All AP courses, as well as Advanced courses, are open enrollment. All students willing to accept the challenge of a rigorous academic curriculum should be considered for admission to AP and Advanced courses.
