2024-25 Adopted Teacher Salary Guide

The salaries listed below are for 184 days. Librarian salaries (189 days) are based on the daily rate multiplied by the number of days worked. New hires holding a master's degree from an accredited college or university will receive a stipend of $1,000. New hires holding a doctorate degree from an accredited college or university will receive a stipend of $1,500. Employees with multiple advanced degrees are only eligible to receive one advanced degree stipend. Stipends in addition to the salaries are paid in critical areas.

All new hires will be placed at Step 0 until Human Resources receives and verifies all service records. Employees who begin work after the first duty day of their schedule will receive an annual salary prorated to the first day of employment.

This salary guide is not intended as and may not be used to determine salary levels for existing staff or be used to calculate future earnings. Pay increases are based on annual compensation approved by the Board of Trustees.

Teacher Incentive Allotment

Teachers with a Recognized, Exemplary or Master designation on their SBEC certificate can receive a state stipend in Frisco ISD. A Nationally Board Certified teacher will automatically receive a Recognized designation and a state stipend.

After costs, yearly stipends in Frisco ISD will range from $2,700 to $15,500. The state stipend amount varies based on the designation and the level of socioeconomic need on the campus where the teacher is assigned. Learn more on the Teacher Incentive Allotment webpage.
