Request for Proposal (RFP)

When FISD needs products or services on a large scale, the District issues a RFP. This is typically done for products or services valued at $50,000 or more, aggregate for the fiscal year. RFPs provide vendors instructions for submitting proposals and the terms of any purchases awarded through the RFP. RFPs are advertised in the local newspaper and on the FISD website. In addition, information is emailed directly to vendors who have registered through the e-bidding website, https://fisd.ionwave.net/.
