Academic Competitions

Frisco ISD students are encouraged to participate in academic competitions to challenge themselves academically and get more involved in their school.

Academic competitions complement the students' TEK-based curriculum, motivate them to acquire higher knowledge levels, confront issues of importance, and represent their school positively. Competitions can also help students build lifelong skills such as learning to excel under pressure, working collaboratively with a team and thinking critically.

In Frisco ISD, all campuses offer a minimum number of academic competitions. Based on student interest, staff availability and funding campuses can apply to participate in additional contests.
