Frisco ISD students and staff are leaders in environmental stability. Through District-wide and campus community efforts, Frisco ISD employs reducing, reusing and recycling strategies. Students, staff and the community work together to contribute to the overall well-being of each campus.
FISD aims to reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills. Through environmental sustainability efforts, the district reduces waste and spending. In addition to the environmental advantages of recycling, FISD’s recycling service results in a 40% savings over trash service.
Students and staff in Frisco ISD understand the importance of environmental stability and are encouraged to use all resources efficiently. FISD recognizes campuses that use the least paper per student with a Tree Hugger Award.
