FISD Behavior Management Philosophy

The purpose of discipline is to change behavior. When students violate the Student Code of Conduct, it is the educator’s opportunity to guide them in reflecting on their actions and how those actions impact the educational environment. By responding to misbehavior consistently with a focus on relationships, personal accountability, and fair and equitable consequences, we will support all students in their educational experience.
