Access Frisco will send you an email notification when the enrollment window opens so you don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to join Frisco ISD.
Access Frisco is an exciting initiative that opens the doors of Frisco ISD to Kindergarten through 7th-grade students beyond current Frisco ISD attendance zones, extending access to the top-tier education Frisco ISD is known for.
This program will not only allow more students to experience the academic excellence and vibrant community that define FISD, but it will also strengthen our district by broadening perspectives, fostering connections and enhancing opportunities for all students.
FISD is dedicated to knowing every student by name and need. Through Access Frisco, we can embrace that mission even more broadly by inviting new families to join our community. Added enrollment will enable us to optimize our class sizes, offer a diverse range of programs and greater opportunities for all our students to thrive.
Access Frisco is designed so that each cohort of students can build relationships and grow together.

Student’s admission would not require the District to hire new staff, reassign existing staff, or provide specialized training to existing staff at the campus and grade level indicated in the transfer request and campus assignment.
To demonstrate eligibility for an Access Frisco transfer, documents demonstrating eligibility in all categories above must be submitted within the timeline provided by the District. Please submit documents verifying eligibility promptly to avoid a denial of the associated transfer request.
Parents whose Access Frisco request is approved will be responsible for providing transportation to and from the campus.
Frisco ISD will not provide specialized transportation as a related service under an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for Access Frisco because such specialized transportation as a related service is available in the student’s home district.
Transfer students must be delivered and picked up from their assigned campus and/or activities on time.
Requesting and accepting a transfer constitutes a parent’s assurance that safe and timely transportation will be provided to and from the approved campus.
A transfer may be revoked if the parent does not provide safe and timely transportation.
