Middle Schools (7-8)

• Introduction to Spanish: This course is an elective, it is not a prerequisite for Spanish 1, and it can be taken in 7th or 8th grade.

• Spanish 1: This is a high school level course, counts toward high school GPA, and can be taken in 8th grade.

High Schools (9-12)

Frisco ISD currently offers the following languages for students to enroll in to gain HS World Language credit:

• Spanish 1, 2, 2PAP, 3, 3PAP, 4AP, 5AP

• French 1, 2, 2PAP, 3, 3PAP, 4AP

• Mandarin Chinese 1, 2, 3PAP, 4AP (Chinese is offered in an online format)

• ASL 1, 2 (not offered on all campuses)
