Frisco ISD staff benefit from sending their children to Frisco ISD schools.
Staff who are not Frisco ISD residents can have their children attend the campuses in their feeder pattern.
Staff who are Frisco ISD residents have three options:
Their child can attend in the feeder pattern of their building/campus.
Their child can attend the home campuses based on their Frisco ISD residence.
Staff may elect to participate in the annual In-District transfer process.
Employees must be in good standing with the District when the transfer request is submitted, or the request will be denied.
Step 1: Apply during the annual In-District Employee-Student transfer window.
Dec. 10, 2024 to Jan. 6, 2025
Exception: Employees hired after the annual transfer request window or whose workplace is reassigned during the school year may submit a transfer request at that time.
Step 2: Await an acceptance or denial email by Friday, January 24, 2025.
Step 3: Register with Frisco ISD during annual registration.
Once an In-District transfer has been approved, a student in good standing may remain at the assigned campus for the duration of the grade levels available at that campus. In-District transfers are a privilege; learn about District-initiated transfer withdrawals.
Parents whose employee transfer request is approved will be responsible for providing transportation to and from the campus.
Frisco ISD will not provide specialized transportation as a related service under an IEP for non-resident employee students because such specialized transportation as a related service is available in the student’s home district.
Transfer students must be delivered and picked up from their assigned campus and/or activities on time.
Requesting and accepting a transfer constitutes a parent’s assurance that safe and timely transportation will be provided to and from the approved campus.
A transfer may be revoked if the parent does not provide safe and timely transportation.
