The purpose of our facilities is to house high-quality learning experiences for Frisco ISD students, and this use is prioritized over any others. However, when our facilities are vacant, Frisco ISD permits organizations in our community the use of designated District facilities for educational, recreational, civic, or social activities when these non-school use activities do not conflict with school use or with board policy GKD (LOCAL).
Please see the Facility Rental & Reservation page for full details regarding FISD facility rentals. Generally, rentals are allowed in all regular elementary, middle, and high school cafeterias, elementary and middle school gymnasiums, and high school auditoriums. During certain seasons, synthetic fields at high schools are available for rental. Reservations for synthetic fields and middle school gymnasiums are made through the Athletic Office and all other rentals are made through the Office of School Services. All rentals are pending campus approval and availability, as school-related activities are prioritized. All rentals are considered first-come first-served.
Community facility use generally opens around mid-September, when campus calendars are complete, and is very limited over the summer months. On school days, elementary spaces are not available until 6:45 p.m. or later, and secondary spaces are not available until 5 p.m. Please see the Facility Reservation tab for complete terms and conditions and consider all terms carefully prior to determining if a Frisco ISD facility is right for you.
