Bright Academy is home to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme, which offers a unique style of teaching and learning to increase students’ understanding of global perspectives, languages and cultures. Parents who live in Frisco ISD and will have students entering grades K-5 in the 2024-25 school year can review the information below to learn more about Bright Academy:
Attend
Bright Academy automatically enrolls students who live in the Bright attendance zone. Elementary students from across Frisco ISD may submit an admissions form to express interest in attending the school. The admission form for the 2024-25 school year will open for K-5 students enrolled in Frisco ISD at 8 a.m. on March 18, 2024 and close at 11:59 p.m. on March 29, 2024.
Admissions Form
Students will be randomly selected for enrollment using a lottery process based on the number of seats available. Parents and students will be notified of their admissions status via email. Once notified, parents will have 72 hours to accept or deny the offer to enroll at Bright Academy. If your student is not initially admitted into Bright Academy, there may still be spots opening up later in the summer as they become available. The lottery process will continue until all available seats are filled.
Students enrolled through the lottery admissions process that have been enrolled in Bright Academy for a school year will be guaranteed acceptance to the school in subsequent years following adherence to all admission, attendance and behavioral policies
